Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the service.

• Account details: name, email address, mobile number and password (passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us).
• Booking details: the doctor or clinic you choose, appointment date and time, visit type and the reason for the visit you provide.
• Home visit details: the address you pin on the map, its coordinates, and flat, floor or landmark information you add.
• Location: your approximate device location, only when you tap “Near me”, and only to sort results by distance.
• Payment records: amount, status and reference of payments recorded by a clinic. Qued does not store card numbers or UPI credentials.
• Technical data: device, browser and log information used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account.
• To make and manage bookings, and to share the necessary details with the doctor or clinic you booked.
• To give the doctor your home visit address and directions when you book a home visit.
• To show ratings, reviews and search results.
• To respond to support requests and to meet legal obligations.

Who can see your details

The clinic and doctor you book with can see the details of that booking. Clinic staff see only what their assigned permissions allow — for example, payment reports are visible only to staff granted that right. Platform administrators can access data where necessary to operate and support the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Health information

Any symptom or reason-for-visit information you enter is treated as sensitive personal data. It is shared only with the doctor or clinic involved in your care and with staff whose permissions require it.

Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, databases, maps and directions. Directions open in Google Maps, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Some public directory listings are gathered from publicly available sources.

Data retention

Account and booking records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to satisfy legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask for your account and personal data to be deleted.
• Withdraw location permission at any time in your browser or device settings.

Security

Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure with row-level security rules, so each account can only reach the records it is entitled to. No system is perfectly secure, and we ask you to keep your password confidential.

Children

Accounts are for adults. A parent or guardian may book appointments on behalf of a child using their own account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
